Another man ...See moreA man in workman's clothes, wearing a derby hat and carrying a coal shovel, approaches a coal chute in a set of the front of a barbershop. He removes the lid and climbs into the chute, leaving only his head and neck visible. Another man steps out of the barbershop, sees the derby hat, and gives it a kick. By the use of stop action photography, the hat and the man's head fly off. The second man picks up the head, brushes it carefully, replaces the hat, and restores both to the shoulders of the man who is just climbing out of the coal chute. The head replacement completed, the two men enter the barbershop arm in arm. Written by
