Thomas Cat, the old reliable, opens the cartoon with a little scene of ash-can cafeteria. But the cat surely marvels at the digestive powers of Billy Goat. Old shoes, tomato cans and broken bottles are only "snacks" to the goat. But then along comes Leary Ostrich and makes the goat's appetite look like a fifteen cent lunch at Childs.
