They rehash the situation, including Kip and Wendy's determination to be together. Tony feels he and Janet still have the advantage of time since Wendy hasn't reached the age of consent. Janet cautions him not to hang his hope on that idea. Wendy is ready to go to bed with Kip right now. Shocked to the core, Tony says Kip must know he'd kill him if that happened. Grace arrives wanting to know why she has not been informed of all the drama in the family. She hopes Kip's reform and Wendy's sense of decency will keep the two out of trouble. Janet meets Kip later. They try to conduct a civil conversation. Kip declares his love for Wendy and promises to treat her honorably. Janet reminds him that he once made the same vow to Amy, and look how that turned out. Kip argues his love for Wendy is something Janet can't understand. It's a different kind of love than they had.
