Arthur bristles over Kip's admission that he met with Peter, and vows there will be Hell to pay if he discovers Wes Lambert has made a fool of The Clarion. Armed with the Lambert information, Kip phones Wendy to tell her he's now certain Arthur wouldn't support criminal behavior. Wendy says she'll go fishing for more information and visits Val on the pretext of being concerned about the hospital scandal affecting Tony. Val reveals that Peter has proof of a conspiracy to hang Dodge. Wendy is happy, but Val is upset. Wendy has inadvertently revealed knowledge of details she couldn't have known unless she was still seeing Kip. Val doesn't know how she's going to break the news to Janet. Written by
