During his trip to Yemen, Elnour was impressed by the enthusiasm to find new ways. He was particularly fascinated by the schools built in the desert for Bedouins: on the one hand, they were made to suit the Bedouins, a place where new alliances were to be formed; on the other hand, they constituted a symbol of profound cultural transformation - an attempt to make the Bedouins settle down. Despite numerous problems during filming, the film was awarded a prize at the Moscow Film Festival. See less
