Of course, the family farm, which her mother Käthe now runs, is still close to her heart. Unfortunately, Käthe doesn't have a good hand when it comes to an important personnel issue: Since Rolf Scherer has been running the business, wine stocks have been disappearing from the cellar. When there are problems with the new red wine vintage and the office burns down along with the accounting department, Anne intervenes. She suspects that someone is deliberately trying to drive the farm into bankruptcy and even suspects her own brother Matthias, who has returned from Hamburg. By chance, Anne comes across a letter that contains a posthumous confession from her father: Niece Jannika Wader is actually his biological daughter. The news hits like a bombshell for Bruno, who is currently celebrating Jannika's election as wine queen with fatherly pride. Helpless, Christel has to experience how her husband and daughter turn away from her. Meanwhile, Anne faces a challenge as a mother: daughter Tori is now 17 and wants her boyfriend to stay with her.
