They want Michael to be their witness - after all, he introduced Tanja to the practice and is therefore "responsible" for their happiness. Everyone is thrilled, except for Christian's son Paul. Seemingly for no reason, he suddenly feels excluded. Christian tries to figure out what's bothering his son. Because, of course, the wedding will only happen if the whole family agrees... Christian is called to the emergency room: Nicole Höppner survives an electric shock in the bathtub. What initially appears to be an accident turns out, upon closer inspection, to be the result of a serious illness. Christian must act quickly to save the woman's life. Tanja's patient, Sina Drechsler, is seven months pregnant. During a prenatal checkup, Tanja discovers fluid in the unborn child's chest.
