Filmed inside the West Los Angeles animal shelter and outdoors in the city of Los Angeles with animal control officers, the story emerged that animals turned in to animal control by their owners as well as stray animals faced euthanization when not adopted by new owners in a short period of time. The heartfelt documentary brought awareness to this heartbreaking reality. Jon Macht has worked in all aspects of movie and television production for the last 35+ years and was involved in the Star Trek television series for Paramount Pictures, Babylon 5 series at Warner Brothers, documentaries with Arnold Shapiro and David Wolper.
