A few decades ago, the conditions in certain parts of Rajasthan were pitiable and drought like. The film describes how Rajendra Singh's knowledge of traditional-ancient methods of water conservation helped transform the landscape by elevating ground water levels, balancing the ecosystem and boosting agriculture. He inspired people to join hands with him and develop a community wherein everybody worked together to further the cause. The film also talks about the struggles he faced through his journey. The film depicts the visual documentation of the landscapes and the water bodies, the awards and accolades he received, and features interviews of Rajendra Singh and many villagers that have benefitted from his work.
