It's about how the Vk's haven't experience the holiday spirit so Ben then decides to show them with the help of Lonnie. Chad was so envious of their happiness that he stole the Christmas star from the top of the tree, which Fairy Godmother had spelled with holiday spirit. The star's power overtakes Chad, causing him to ruin Christmas. At least not yet, no one knows it was Chad who took away the holiday spirit. Chad tries to blame everything on Jay, saying with a smirk, "Perhaps Jay confined him. Jay does have a history of fine thievery work." Jay's locker was filled with holiday spirit the moment he opened it. They had no idea, however, that Chad was the one who had placed all of Jay's holiday spirit in his locker. Overall, Chad receives a gift that causes him to regret his actions, tries to restore the star, gets caught by Mal, Evie, Carlos, Jay, Ben, and Lonnie thanks to Dude's bark alarm, and after a discussion about why Chad stole the holiday spirit, the holiday spirit is restored with the help of Mal, Evie, Carlos, Jay, Ben, and Lonnie.
