Each boxer represents either the ...See moreInside a derelict and dimly-lit chapel, two boxers, played by the same actor, engage in a brutal boxing match, whilst symbolically representing the everyday 'inner battles' that human beings go through. Each boxer represents either the health, happy mental state of an individual, or the unhappy, depressed and unstable state. These boxers fight literally in order to demonstrate the very real and apparent struggle of mental illness that so many people experience in today's society. The film highlights how battles are much easier won with support from others, and how, when people come together and help others with their battles, they become the strongest versions of themselves. The entire short film is accompanied by a constant musical performance of the soundtrack played by an acting performer at the piano. Written by
