She loved and cherished her own, and forced her stepdaughter to do all the work. One day Khavroshechka's stepmother ordered her to graze a cow, and to not be bored, she also weaved cloth. Khavroshechka drove her Buryonka to the meadow and became sad. And Buryonka tells her not to be sad, but to take her horn and throw it away.
