But who are you kidding - it's a pipe dream. Your grasp slips.... you are hit again with tragedy. It takes everything from you. You are left with nothing. You should have seen it coming this time, but you didn't. The only thing that awaits you is Death by your own hand. Desolation Road is the story of one such downward spiral. Except when our main character hits rock bottom she doesn't call it quits. She scrapes her insides and like Dorothy at the end of Wizard of Oz, finds a strength she never knew she had but was there all along. Determined, she burns all she knows. She rises from the ashes.
