Gary Reid opens the door and suspicions are immediately reinforced by his brutish physical appearance and the nervous/guilty way he conducts himself. Once in the house the police become more suspicious when they are introduced to Janey Reid, who wont make eye contact with either of them. The reason soon becomes apparent when she finally turns to reveal a new black eye hiding under a thick layer of makeup. Gary and Janey are diffident in their interactions with Lindley and Burton, there's definitely something wrong in this house but Lindely feels there's something else going on here, and the appearance of Ben, their teenage son, confirms those suspicions. Nothing is as it seems in the house, no one as they appear and the denouement sees the biggest twist of all that leaves Lindley and Burton shocked and not sure what to do for the best. See less
