Addy is given the opportunity to ...See moreAddy is a 12 year-old girl in a boy's world. Literally; she joined Boy Scouts and she is struggling to find her place. Her troop is camping at a special place where her brother died six years ago. Addy is given the opportunity to participate in the last flag ceremony to commemorate James on the anniversary of his death. With pressure to find a partner to perform flags along side her, Addy is also bullied by a 13 year-old scout named Xavier. Addy has trouble finding someone to be a color-guard with her for the flag ceremony, and ultimately must work with Xavier. Amidst her frustration, she has a moment with an ostracized new scout named Angus (11), who ends up performing the honorary flag ceremony with Addy and Xavier to pay respect to James.
