Thorsten breaks his leg - a complicated fracture that has to be repaired in the hospital - and subsequently develops a thrombosis. When his brother is also admitted to the hospital with pneumonia, both brothers must face their suppressed anger. When Christian himself needs emergency surgery shortly before his appendix ruptures, Tanja takes over his patients at the practice. The rest of the practice team firmly supports her. At the same time, she is faced with a difficult gynecological case: Simone desperately wants an abortion. She seems unhappy and desperate to Tanja. Tanja refers her to a counseling center because, as a gynecologist, she is not authorized to provide counseling in this case. Of course, Tanja continues to provide medical care for Simone. The more Simone opens up to her doctor, the more complicated the case becomes. Simone has been a member of a cult for years.
