A picture-perfect image of three young children secure in the innocence of youth. Dressed in cheap, improvised Halloween vampire costumes, with plastic vampire teeth. Whilst playing and mimicking vampires, they come across what seems to be an old man, hunched over sitting on a bench at the park. One of the children decides to play a prank on the old man as the other two hide and watch behind a tree. The apparent old man swiftly turns grabbing the child lifting him off the ground and turning his head to take a bite on the child's neck like a vampire would. The other two children shocked at what they are witnessing take off leaving their friend behind. One of the boys now a grown young man, has dedicated his life to researching and investigating what he believes was a vampire that killed his friend. He risks his career and sanity and begins a hunt after suspicious reports of deaths on the streets. He convinces friends a skinny disheveled cheerful hobo, a street wise tough looking priest, and an attractive female detective to join him. Together they pursue a hunt to find and stop the Vampires that are rumored to be feeding on the unwanted people of the streets. "Vampires that have stepped from childhood fiction, to nonfiction".
