Then, she faced surgery that would likely end her career-after earning a scholarship to Arkansas. While the school honored the scholarship, she arrived in Fayetteville only able to swing a putter-but went on to become an SEC and NCAA individual champion, and still later one of the LPGA's top players. In 2017, a week after Hurricane Harvey wreaked havoc on her hometown, she broke a long tournament drought-and donated her entire check for storm relief. See less
