The year is 1944 and the war in the Pacific is raging on in bloody fashion. Yet hundreds of thousands of Americans were still signing up for the fight. One man was Earl Hill of Pocahontas, AR. Hill would find himself serving aboard an LCT (Landing Craft Tank) during the Battle of Guam, and during the clean up of Pearl Harbor, which still showed scars of the Japanese attack in 1941.
