Meanwhile, a farmer Ossie Rentsch fell in love with a young woman Elaine who had been in a car accident. In desperation to ease her pain and keep her mobile, by a chance meeting, Ossie met Tom Bowen, which led to Elaine's miraculous recovery. This put Ossie and Elaine on a dedicated mission fueled by a promise to take this healing art to the world. Ossie had to transform from a farmer to a successful healer and tenacious entrepreneur. In just 40 years, Ossie and Elaine created a global movement of more than 65,000 Bowen practitioners improving the health and well-being of millions through a gentle yet powerful technique.
