He feels nothing about his father's death who left him when Asan was a child. He goes at the funeral because of his mother and can't understand her stories that his father was a good man. "Then why did you break up, if he was such a good man?" - asks Asan his mother, and she has nothing to say. Asan doesn't respect adults and argues to them because of his age and character. But the meeting with his dead father becomes a catalyst for him to grow up and realize that he is a man now. See less
