The media finds out and throngs the police station. Vicky's lawyer and Anubhav rush to bail him out. They leave, with Anubhav and lawyer leaving out the front door and sending Vicky out of the back door of the police station. When Vicky gets into the car that has come to pick him up, he is shocked to see Jyotika in it. Jo is very matter of fact and does not attempt to make any emotional connection with him. She takes him to a coffee shop where she tells him she will help resurrect his career and his situation. Vicky gets really happy, imagining that perhaps she is in love with him again. Jo makes it clear that it is Aubhav and their music mentor Ronu who convinced her to do this for old times' sake. Jo agrees and lays out 3 conditions for Vicky - the only basis which she will be taking care of him.
