A man that has consumed his lifetime in basketball, Gives it all up to pursue the NFL at age 23 in honor of his brother who died with a football in his hand. Did you know statistically the chances of a person dying in a football game is .03 percent? Robbie DeRaffele is Stro Adams in "The Call" a journey after Stro and Ness Adam's older brother Jay Jay Adams, the leader and big brother dies on the football field as time expired from a massive heart attack. Long time roommate and middle brother Ness Adams; additionally an NFL prospect ruined his chances with a career ending knee injury Senior year in High School. The depression inflicted from Jay Jay Adam's sudden death abruptly causes Ness Adams serious mental health issues causing a sudden location move away from long time roommate and brother Stro Adams. He packed all of his belongings, and forgot one thing, his H.S practice jersey. Stro Adams is the last man standing in a family cut short once before in their teens. at 6'8 225 lb an athletic freak, A young, lonely, depressed, courageous broken athlete casts himself with a brand new dream, to follow his deceased brothers legacy. Why not choose the NBA? and what can possibly stand in his way? The old addictive traits heavily linger, The Villainous thing hey call alcohol which has all the euphoria equally balanced with misery and depression. Stro Adams faces a chance at the NFl all while going up against the most prolific athletes in the World. Everything increases, including his motivation,drive,skill and strikingly, dillusion. Stro Adams intoxicating alcoholism causes him to see the H.S practice jersey as Ness Adams. Ness's brotherly Vibrational synapses firing states apart turn visual, appearing to guide Stro too and through his NFL Tryouts all while Adams hiding his alcoholism that is getting out of control on the biggest stage in Sports. Did you know the chances of making the NFL with no prior experience as a walk-on is .03%?
