As the rocks rapidly multiply, Varian appears and tells her to face her destiny. After waking up, she goes to a boat by the dock to contemplate the dream and get some fresh air. To her surprise, she sees Varian and his pet raccoon, Rudiger there. Varian shows her a scroll which says what the rocks are made of in an archaic language and says that the Sundrop Flower, the flower that healed Queen Arianna when Rapunzel was a baby, could help stop the rocks from growing and, determined to stop the rocks, Varian devises a dishonorable plan to get it.
