Leonardo is treated at the hospital where efforts are useless and he is declared brain dead, when the news is given, Eliseo and Nicolás fall apart, while Maura and Luisa pretend to be affected by the news. Aymar arrives at the hospital to visit Teresa, but surprised sees Nicolás, who informs him what happened; Upon reaching Teresa's room, Aymar tries to be discreet and only gives the news to David, who is shocked. Elisha suffers more than anyone else the loss of his son and refuses to accept his death, clings to his body and tries to talk to him.
