The purpose of the joint project was to support the development ...See more"The Bridges of Volunteering" project is one of many activities initiated by Polish Humanitarian Team and Caritas of Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Sambir-Drohobych (Ukraine). The purpose of the joint project was to support the development of volunteering in both organizations and to establish cooperation between young people from Poland and Ukraine in the context of the creation of two international volunteering projects. In addition, the realization of the project helped in the mutual understanding of Poles and Ukrainians and the breaking down of stereotypes. In 6 days of intense work, led and organized by volunteers themselves, participants learned a great deal about their countries, learned about writing and submitting applications for NGO projects, and had the opportunity to create two completely new projects together.
