There is no scientific proof that this path will cure them or prolong their lives, in fact it results in re-occurrence of additional disease and more aggressive cancers. Preventative options and harmless state-of-the-art technologies that can detect disease many years before a mammogram can find deadly cancer. My mother died of breast cancer at 49. After witnessing her horror, I refused to fall victim to the current fear-based paradigm.
