For the last 18 years, it's been a popular location for people to commit suicide from. It attracts the depressed, heart broken and debt-ridden. Rajaram Joshi is a fisherman in the waters below the bridge. Born in Vashi, Raju has seen people jump from the bridge ever since it was constructed. However since 2012, he's become well-known for saving those who jump from the bridge. Raju has saved more that 20 people who've attempted to take their lives and recovered the bodies of many of those who've died. Raju is loud, rude, funny, arrogant, but he can also be poetic and a dreamer. Those around him call him a hero. But not everything is as it seems. And when we speak to some of the other local fishermen they have a very different story to tell.... The film is an intriguing profile piece about a modern day Indian 'Hero'. It explores our ideas around the morality and expectations of what a hero is. It examines the way the media construct our heroes and who gets forgotten amidst all of this brouhaha.
