Unimpressed by local entertainer Hirsty he plans to return to the city but is prevented when Cath puts all his clothes in the wash. Feelings for barmaid Jen and his parents' impressive performance at karaoke persuade him that life on the site might not be so bad - but then he discovers Gal's secret store of highly dangerous Chinese gas canisters.
