He takes over his father's network of funeral homes, which is located in a small town near Nashua, New Hampshire, which also happens to have the lowest death rate in the country. He becomes friends with Tobias Riley, a small-time drug dealer who aims to be a crime lord but lacks the ingenuity, until Dallas comes up with an ingenious plan to make money because Riley is in debt and struggling to keep the business afloat. They position themselves as the nucleus of the town, responsible for all the nefarious activities that take place in the little hamlet while operating in secrecy and perpetuating the local gangs' drug trafficking and murderous rampages.
