When his agent, Richard, arrives, Corvalo hopes there is good news about his return to the small screen, but Richard informs him that the talks for a show have stalled, and confronts Corvalo with a strange newspaper clipping. Unable to quench his thirst for fame, Corvalo decides to reveal his true self to Richard and quench his thirst in other ways. Inspired by the masterful impersonations of Michael McQuary, and based on an idea by Anthony Ladesich, Corvalo is an exploration of ways of hiding and revealing our identities. Writers Trey Hock and Ladesich knew that the horror genre, with its classic movie monsters would be a fun way to look into the character of Corvalo. Though neither is a fan of the horror genre, they hope that they treated it with the dignity and gravitas the genre deserves. Shot over two days, Corvalo is a love letter not only to classic horror, but also the vibrant film community in Kansas City.
