Ridge does not ...See moreBrooke explains to Eric and Ridge that she is absolutely certain that Stephanie's interest in a friendship is fake as she only wants to cause trouble in their relationship and be there to swoop in and pick up the pieces. Ridge does not believe Brooke. He feels validated when Stephanie later adds her two cents to the story. Stephanie claims that Brooke does not really want to marry Eric because she is still in love with Ridge. Ridge has doubts and fears that his mother is going to be disappointed in the end. Unbeknownst to him, Stephanie swears her attorney Barry to secrecy that they have known for days that the divorce will go through soon. Eric and Brooke decide to have dinner at Pierre's to clear their mind. Pierre is happy to hear that Brooke gave birth to a healthy boy and sings "Love is here to stay" for the thrilled parents.
