Soraya is a young lady who grew up with her father and his strict upbringing. She is haunted by the memory of her father abusing her mother for the sake of his second wife, from whom he has a daughter named Douha. Soraya hates her step-sister Douha, and lives on the desire to take revenge on her and their father, not knowing that her mother is not dead, but that she was taken to a remote village and placed under heavy guard by her father after killing Douha's mother. On the other hand Douha is a very kind girl treated as a princess by her father. She has good intentions and good faith in everyone around her even her evil sister Soraya. The story begins by her run away from her home because her father was forcing her to get engaged to Farid who's been loved by Soraya which made Soraya threatens Douha and Farid to ruin their lives and to kill herself after that if they both got engaged. Douha then tries to commit suicide in the sea but Sharif and his brother rescued her and she had to live in their small house for two days. Then she makes a deal with Sharif to get married to him and give him money and jewelry in return to be able to change her last name so that her father won't find her and she can travel abroad safely. But she fell in love with Sharif despite his poverty and things get complicated for them as soon as her father knew about their marriage and that the money and the jewelry related to Douha's mother were stolen by Sharif's sister.
