The soul, conceptualized as a jellyfish-like creature, gradually learns the truth of its existence through encounters with other souls, both corporeal and incorporeal, enabling it to move on towards that eternal realm after death. The film deals with the subject of life and death, and emphasizes that the end of one journey is just a beginning to another. Just as how we were born into the world without any prior knowledge about it, death and the afterlife is the ultimate unknown that we, as humans, will have to face. Death is, essentially, a rebirth into permanence. See less
