After John...See moreCathy imagines John telling her how to respond if Nick questions her about John's walker. Nick recalls Althea once reassuring him how John couldn't compare to him, then her saying the opposite by accusing him of being a monster. After John arrives home, Althea promises John that they no longer have to fear Nick's outbursts. Matt tries to no avail to change Nick's mind about Althea and John. John cautions Althea that the kind of heated breakup she and Nick experienced might only be temporary, but Althea is convinced that it's permanent. Cathy arrives at Nick's apartment, and he immediately theorizes that she and John are keeping a secret about John's alleged paralysis, but Cathy pleads innocent. He warns her that she knew the rules all along and agreed to abide by them, but since she's carrying his child, he's now prepared to marry for the sole purpose of giving their child a name because the kid is the only innocent party in the whole mess.
