In order to keep the broadcast going, Bernd puts on an endless tape of old Franco-broadcasts. But they urgently need a replacement for Armin. Corinna thinks of Laura, who already has radio experience. Armin meets the escaped snake in the bathroom the next morning. Armin believes that his suspicion that he has hallucinations due to overexertion is confirmed when he hears Laura's voice on the radio ... While searching for the snake, Werner makes an unexpected discovery in Margot's living room. He finds photos he had kept in his suitcase and confronts Margot. Meanwhile, at Albrechts, Laura breaks out into snake hysteria. Regina then emphatically demands that Werner solve the 'snake question' immediately. He has no choice but to prepare the reptile's 'favorite meal', a foul-smelling broth that is supposed to attract the snake. Irene is at the end of her rope when she comes home and finds sheer chaos in her kitchen ... Olaf notices that rumors are circulating in the house about Jennifer's secret lover. In order to forestall suspicions, he decides to quit his job at the youth center. Irene learns of Olaf's intentions and - since she doesn't know the background - asks Jennifer, of all people, to dissuade him. She reacts differently than expected and quits herself in the 'K60'.
