The movie is about the beautiful Oryx whose lovely eyes have traditionally been used by the Arabs to describe the beautiful long lashed mascaraed eyes of their ladies. In spite of the big size of the Oryx it is so peaceful that it has become an easy target for merciless hunters. Thus it has been pushed into the depths of the desert; the Empty Quarter where it had almost disappeared. However, God has incidentally granted His Will to a group of men from Qatar who have a living conscience to do all they can for the preservation of this beautiful creature. Therefore, the men captured some Oryx calves which they sheltered on their farms, looked after and helped to reproduce. These Oryxes have then become the nucleus of a protected natural reservation sponsored by the State and thereby provided with all the scientific and technical capabilities. In a short time, these Oryxes became a complete herd. Since the protected area is relatively different from the Oryx natural habitat, the Oryxes have been released into their natural habitat while the State maintains looking after, immunizing and protecting them against hunting. The movie's scenes of the Oryx flock are actual and genuine ones that show the Oryx at various stages. The scenes illustrate the Oryxes' natural and social life and how their natural leader is elected to lead them. The scenes also show how the Oryxes adapt with the desert's scorching heat and lack of water.
