Every year a group of 200 adults from San Francisco, CA venture to Camp Mather, on the edge of Yosemite National Park to attend Senior-Get-Away, an overnight camp for those "55 and better." Told from the point of view of the seniors themselves, Gerry and Anita who have been friends for 30 years, both school teachers; Susan, a former professor who came to camp for the first time solo; Pablo, a retired SFRPD Aquatics supervisor who continues to give back to the community by volunteering his time at the camp.
