Trish assures her mother that she is fine and so is the baby. Jeri feared that having Toni as a roommate with her past might be trouble. Kate has a conversation with Bill and tells him that between school and being a doctor it is taking quite a toll. Laura feels the same way and asks Greg since he is the chief of staff to take Bill off the graveyard shift. Mike feeling sorry for himself runs into Wendy at the park and they both decide to have some fun in a romantic way. Things get ugly in the courtroom as both sides present their case.
