Nick admits that he was always fond of her mother and offers to send Edna a bouquet of flowers. Matt shares with Maggie his conversation with Cadman, who is increasingly convinced that he's uncovering incriminating evidence against Steve in Dan's murder. After Maggie experiences another dizzy spell, Matt demands that she receive a physical from Karen. Cadman presents his case against Steve to district attorney Darryl Harrigan, but Harrigan doesn't feel the case is strong enough, unless Cadman can prove an extramarital affair between Steve and Carolee. John urges Althea to tell Edna that she's missing a few years from her memory, and Althea is now married to him. Althea makes a reservation to fly back to Greenville for the weekend.
