As a prequel to "No Way Back" we join 20-something Redd and his girlfriend Fiona at the summit of the Witch's Pass in the Brecon Beacons. Having set their tent it becomes apparent to Fiona that the couple is not alone on the mountain. Redd, however, ignores the warning signs and his awareness of impending danger arrives only when he hears the tent-flap being unzipped on their first night camping. By that point it's too late to do anything about it. His attempt at self-preservation is wasted as an unseen force quickly renders Redd to a heap of bone and sinew. Finally, as the heat drains from his lifeless corpse we discover that Fiona is not all she appears to be. See less
