Wandering through the couple's vacant home on a snowy winter night, Judith remembers her bloody revenge in a series of dynamically framed danced scenes. Former Martha Graham principal dancer Peter Sparling dances the role of the husband while also serving as director and editor. Eryn Rosenthal creates a haunting portrait of paranoia and resolve as Judith. The musical score by William Schuman was originally commissioned by Graham in 1950 and typifies the hyperdramatic film music of that era. See less
