The water began to seep under the doors through the halls and rooms reaching the higher shelves. No one died but many lost everything. Jordi Fort took his camera to catch the debris in silver nitrate. Then he developed his photos in his own lab. That day he was not aware of the importance of his photos which would be the only witnesses of the disaster. His eyes became the eyes of a whole village. Franco's fascist government forced to veil all the photos that people brought to photography labs. Nowadays Jordi is blind. He can't watch his photos but he still have his memories.
