At hospital, Morin accuses Henri Neveu, his wife's first husband, who for ten years tries to prove that Morin killed Charlotte Neveu, his daughter, despite the investigation determined it was suicide; the summary of the case prescribes in three days, hence the legend "J-3", "trois jours" in French. However, Djibril finds Neveu's body in his sculpture workshop, under a few kilograms of molten metal.
