It is unclear whether is was the result of war, disease or else. We follow Angela and Kyle who now survive off the land roaming from place to place in search of help. Abandoned by her husband, Angela seeks refuge in the woods away from the City. She and her son come across what appears to be an abandoned camp and quickly scavenge for supplies. Moments later they are caught red handed and are forced to share a meal with their capture named Rob. Angela, afraid for their lives takes action and subdues the man, taking his life in the process.
