Dr. Leeds explains that without an examination he can only guess, but based on the time-line, he believes the memory loss could be permanent. Wyatt and Steffy have a heart-to-heart talk about Liam and his disappearance. They are surprised when divorcees Deacon and Quinn arrive asking about their wedding plans. Alone, Deacon reminds Quinn of the risks if Liam does get his memory back. He advises her to move forward and come clean with Bill or otherwise she might end up in jail. At the cabin, Liam is still failing to remember anything about his past. He is thrilled when Quinn comes home, closely followed by Deacon who Quinn introduces as "Jim".
