He realizes that she feels betrayed by Thorne. Ivana changes the topic to point out that she believes that Ridge marrying Brooke so quickly was not only motivated by love but also for business reasons. He denies these insinuations. Macy checks up on Anthony who is bitter that she rejected his marriage proposal in front of the press. He is blunt and stresses that he feels duped by her. Macy tries to convince Anthony that she is sorry to have hurt him, but their reunion happened very quickly and they were blindsided by love. Anthony remains furious and particularly blames Thorne for sticking a knife into his back by going after Macy. Eager to settle the animosity with her mother-in-law, Brooke visits Stephanie at the Forrester Mansion. Stephanie is reluctant to trust Brooke, but eventually warms up to her when she reveals her willingness to sell her shares in the company.
