Maggie tells Matt about her conversation with Althea. Billy expresses his happiness that Carolee is marrying Dan, but he wonders why they haven't set a wedding date. After Carolee asks Billy to help her pick out an engagement ring, Dan reminds her that it's their private business. Althea admits to Steve that she went to bat for him with Carolee, but she wouldn't listen. Steve takes Althea's advice and goes to the phone to call Emma, who might be able to defend him to Carolee.
