Rico misinterprets the conversation when he overhears Nick on the phone talking about the possibility of Rico returning to Chicago. Rico theorizes that Nick wants to get rid of him because Althea is back. Dr. Geller informs Matt that Greta's EEG was abnormal and could indicate structural brain damage. Matt orders a weary Geller to get a physical check-up. Geller advises Matt to not be too permissive with a demanding Greta. Althea avoids Geller's personal questions when he fishes for answers about her sudden need to be without companionship. Nick catches a curious Rico visiting Althea in the outpatient clinic.
