As everyone in the station comes to terms with the sudden development, it appears as though Sharon has been hit hardest by the unexpected revelation. Having spent weeks as the prime target of Brian's torment, Sharon's life has been slowly destroyed in Brian's manipulative efforts to redeem himself and get his life back. Clearly shaken by the turn of events, it comes as no surprise when Nikki questions Sharon's ability to remain on the job. Sharon isn't the only one coming under fire. A case of this magnitude has called for the arrival of regional Superintendent Kevin Dunne who wastes no time in scrutinising Nikki's investigation. As far as Nikki is concerned she has everything under control - this is her station and there's no way in hell Dunne is getting in her way. She trusts her officers to keep a steady hand on the operation, despite Dunne's suggestion of passing along the investigation to Dunedin station. Nikki's worked too hard for someone to take everything away from her now. Meanwhile, Tommy is still recovering in hospital following his near fatal heart attack. Angela is overwhelmed with joy upon finally seeing her husband awake but Tommy's not quite out of the woods yet. Angela's come scarily close to losing her son Conor to a heroin overdose and now the mounting pressure has almost killed her husband. However, in light of recent events could the Tyrells be about to see their luck finally change for the better? See less
